It’s a specific sensation I haven’t experienced since I first saw Aftersun in 2022—that moment when a film’s final seconds completely reframe everything that came before, leaving me struck to my core in ways only film can. Sean Baker knew we’d feel this way; that’s why the credits roll in complete silence, leaving us alone with nothing but our thoughts.
