It took way too long to develop. The first hour sort of lulls you around just waiting for details. When you finally get them in the last 30 minutes, the plot is actually enjoyable — if you condense the first hour into a 10-minute scene, followed by the third act, then a more in-depth resolution — this could have been really, good.
Still, lots to see enjoy here from Flying Lotus’ score, to Eiza’s performance, to the trippy sci-fi lighting. Which only further emphasizes what could have been …
