This movie was very boring and the plot line offered me nothing except confusion and disappointment. I don’t think I ever figured out what the hell she was supposed to be doing? Getting a good grade? Doing a Stanley Tucci makeover on the Northeastern girl? It was all over the place, like a smeared ketchup stain on the countertop of a 1940s diner.
The woman was too stunned to speak! and by the woman, I mean ME! Very morally troubling, hypothetical enough to not piss off my mother, but ultimately realistic enough to make me want to take a bath (with epsom salts).
Also a good lesson as to why you shouldn’t bring children places!!
The WORMS, the NUKES, and the battles were incredible. Still not sure why we’re toting Zendaya around as if she’s a main character though. She’s a minimal character with limited scope, even if she did get Timothéëẽ Chalamet hot and bothered (which we love).
This movie shattered my heart and filled it. All at the same time. Those 2 sweet love sick boys are the perfect match both on screen and off. Uma Thurman? Where did they get her? Nice! But horrifying.
Anyway. This movie made my heart happy and is a carefree watch. Considering how much they CHOPPED from the book, it ended up being delightfully cheerful and a well rounded story. I hate everything Alex wore because it was so modern, chic,…
