    Remakes are difficult, sometimes they’re great and exceed the original, sometimes they’re good, most of the time they’re shite. Suspiria 2018 is good, however it doesn’t exceed the original. 

    The main reason for this is due to Dario Argento’s original being superior in more aspects. A big reason I love the 1977 film is because of the set deigns, the crazy patterns let’s the audience know right away they’re in for a visually interesting experience. This is also helped by…

    “I think it’s nice we share the same sky”

    Such a gorgeous film, the chemistry between Mescal and Corio is so great. They make you actually care for the characters they’re portraying. By the end you’ll be emotionally drained, i nearly cry every time (rare occurrence). I love everything about it. 

    Also I only just noticed the Man United shirt in the background of the first pool scene, which I appreciated.
