  Movies used to have color and lighting. Just a joy to look at.

  Spooky and not scary, surreal, and overall an enthralling time. Is there a coherent narrative? Not really, but it’s so pretty and it cultivates a mood so well that I’m willing to forgive it. Will be watching the 2018 version ASAP to compare!

  Ayo 🦪 and Malkovich are some of my favorite actors right now but they couldn’t save this.

  Took soooooo long to get going and felt so derivative of The Menu and Blink Twice type movies, then even at its craziest it’s pretty tame and not engaging.   I'm dead serious, I was salivating much more than usual for the first half hour or so.

  I'm going to have to watch Call Me By Your Name after this as Luca Guadagnino is clearly a master at his craft. Witty, stylish, funny, and so, so horny. It almost gave me (a bisexual) an aneurysm. Amazing performances from Zendaya, Josh O'Connor, and Dear Evan Hansen alum Mike Faist. I put down the racket 3 years ago after making it to the state tournament but all of a sudden I'm feeling the urge to hit the courts...
