All Quiet on the Western Front 2022

i hate war movies.
seriously though, this movie was super well done. Though not as good as come and see, this movie explored all sides of WW1 in a way i really liked. I loved the juxtaposition between the frontlines and the politicians, and I loved the relationships between the characters, emphasizing humanity over all else. The best parts, I thought, were the ones with no dialogue. The score was fantastic, beautifully or harrowingly filling the silence as I processed the world of the film.
Also shoutout my dad for pausing the movie and promptly doing push ups.
