A perfectly solid crime movie, but it feels kinda slight, considering how good Dominik can be. I could've done with the story being filed out a little. More of Mendelsohn's and Shepard's characters would have been welcome. Not to mention, more info on the "Board", especially if it gave Jenkins more screen time.

The Killer Reserved Nine Seats 1974
No star power in front of, or behind the camera for this low budget but creepy, gothic giallo. Bennati really gets great value from the theatre location. With its creepy corridors and hidden rooms, its grandeur lends the production some welcome sheen.
It starts a little shakily, but once we've established who everyone is and what their relationships are, we can enjoy the bizarrely masked killer picking off our guests, one at a time. Oh, and spend time working out the who (it should be obvious but isnt) and the why.Translated from by
