Cool paranoid thriller. Gene kills it here. Love the character’s clear past thats clearly been involved in shadyness and he has a reason to absolutely be looking over his shoulder again and again. The slow process of his work is fascinating and involving for me.

It is a thriller, but it’s definitely more focused on the character, rather than the thrill, but the thrill is still there and its pretty nice. Love these paranoid thrillers because you’re always looking and always listening, trying to see and hear what’s happening beyond the frame!

Its just a little too cliche for me to love, but it’s executed very well. Matt and Deragh give very wonderful performances and the film just doesn’t work without them.

There are multiple kinds of films that can be distinguished in multiple ways. That’s why we have genre and nations that can be categorized. But I like to split up films based on two things: films that make me feel lucky to be alive, and films that make me feel the drudgery of life. This falls under the latter. I loathe this (despite some moments of justification). It’s not directed well, performances are not natural like they think they are…

This was okay. It’s weird but it still has structure. The first 30 minutes are the best but after that it goes really bizarre to the point of like actually being ridiculous to the point of insanity and it gets really stupid. Idk someone probably really likes this, but I just don’t think this is my thing.

I feel like this movie would be the funniest 6 minutes on YouTube, but it’s a two hour film.
