  couldn’t finish it. i just… didn’t get it. anora isn’t particularly likable, the jokes weren’t particularly funny, it just felt like a supercut of mikey madison tna. which, sure, fine, whatever, but i did not particularly care that the sex scenes were happening beyond the first, like, 3. ivy wolk fucking sucks too 👎

  i loved this movie but couldn’t help but feel like it was missing an argument. it simply told the story, which is really the only job of a biopic, but the great ones also remind us why we should care and why this person deserves to be recognized for their life. it was a lot of fun, timmy can act (and sing), and i can’t stop talking like johnny cash, but i probably don’t need to rewatch this for a while.
