thinking about the toolkit we have regarding identity/art/music today, the gestural lo-fi performances of donegan hold up a really brilliant & playful light to a form of video poetry. to me, practisse is a reflection on the ways we know ourselves through what we make - and - how these things inform and contort/warp/reflect as they flow through different media & platforms.
tldr, it says something when a <7 min video makes me want to investigate the way we both shape our tools, and the way our tools shape us.
