In another universe there is a film called Mickey 17 which doubles down on existentialism, loneliness and colonisation. Unfortunately in this universe these factors were superseded by the sauce quota. I’m not sure why there was a sauce quota but by Joe Toni Collette was damned if she didn’t try to hit it.

A film so egregiously camp and cunty I cannot view this film as anything but a masterpiece. Definitely of its time in some moments but still a banger. The dance scene was true cinema and the bit where Michelle gets hit by the limo is the hardest I’ve laughed at a film in a long time
