Last summer did not meet my expectations although not in a good or bad way. I was thinking that the story line of the film was going to be a romanticised age gap incest plot but I was happy to see that it was a bit more realistic.
Beautiful environment recorded in the countryside of France, which in my opinion enhanced some type of innocence at the same time something so sinful was takin place. A lot of ambient sounds from the romance couple, and nice sounds from birds and the girls playing in the sunny days.

Watching this movie made me feel so many things all at once. The beauty of love between two humans made full of hope, the hatefulness from other peoples beliefs stopping them from being with each other breaks my heart and even throughout multiple attempts of staying away from each other and pushing away their feelings by doing what the society thought them was right by marrying different women, they still never seemed to trick their heart from…

“Let's never come here again because it would never be as much fun.”
To be honest I don’t really know what to say. Watching this movie gave me some type of comfort I’ve never felt so strong before. This movie might not have the highest IMDb but to me this is a masterpiece. The movie portrays loneliness in such a realistic and beautiful way and I believe it is one of the greatest films of all time.
