Was really excited to find this streaming after seeing the trailer last year. I found myself rather disappointed though. The cinematography was great and the acting was solid but the plot felt incredibly run of the mill. It didn’t deviate from the cliche:
Unlikely companions forced together until the assumptions they have of each other are disproven as they learn everyone has their own struggles. The two find humanity in one another and a self sacrificial move by one for the other embodies how far they have come.
