  I want to like Lynch films, I do, I just feel like I’m missing something a lot of the time?
  I can appreciate the story telling (his strongest attribute and why this gets 2 1/2 not 1) but I just feel like the acting is always wooden (I’m sure Kyle MacLachlan is a lovely bloke but he ain’t a leading man Dave), the musical tone is always jarring (why is it ALWAYS smooth jazz?), and the editing (fade to black…

  It’s not often I’ll leave the cinema overly disappointed, but fuck me man the glazing for this film is REAL, I wish I had someone tell me ‘go to sleep’ so I could’ve missed out on watching that 🙄
