Really interesting commentary on the illusion of self and the humility of virtue. Beautifully shot and blocked-fiennes stuns as per usual. Tucci was a welcome jumpscare; he killed it. Thought the twist at the end was hamfisted so -1.5 stars. The message was really interesting and I wish the film had given it even 5 minutes more to breathe.

The slowest of slow burns but the ending was good(?)
Need to watch again and grind some analysis to fully understand. The performances were great—Dev Patel never seems to disappoint. However, I did get bored at many points during the story, and I feel that many plot points were left undeveloped or under developed.
