It's more of a cautionary tale than a love story. Ani’s naivety makes her see Ivan as an escape, the quick paced montages in the first part of the movie tells me that it won't end well for her. Ivan starts as charming, seemingly in love but is later revealed to be using Ani as a means to rebel against his parents. Ani loves the lifestyle and believes that she is in love with Ivan. The ending makes me sad and uncertain about what's next for Ani. I had a blast watching this one. Mikey Madison we love you!

Nosferatu 2024
Eggers is becoming one of my favorite directors, I think I've slept on him for too long not out of lack of interest but the thought of watching his films just never crossed my mind. Nosferatu solidifies my love for his style, everything from the set, costume design, and atmosphere. Lily-Rose Depp's performance tore, I think everyone else did a great job as well, however, Depp is still the standout out of everyone.
