Feels like an easy spot for an “Italian women are so beautiful [3]” moment from me but just missing something to keep me from really enjoying it. I think it’s fairly successful as a meandering but beautiful 2 hour saint laurent ad, but at the same time the costume design kept me from really feeling immersed in it as a period piece.

At first glance this movie might seem like it was made by someone who'd never met a single Chinese person in their life—with further inspection however, you'll quickly realize this is a film made by someone who has never met a single human being in their life.
I can only imagine how just much blow Johnny C was passing around during production.
