  I’ve never felt as seen before. This film is nostalgic and so relatable. It reminds me of my awkward teenage years and almost feels like looking at a mirror when watching the relations of an immigrant family. Joan Chen should be considered for awards season. I saw pieces of my own mother in how she portrayed the character. My partner felt PTSD of his own teenage years watching this film. Bravo Sean Wang & Cast & Crew!! Thank you for the authentic story you’ve told.
