    Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle

    ★★★½

Although it still might eventually happen. I like that this was a modern day continuation, rather than giving us a remake of Jumanji. The "This is Alan Parrish's house, I'm just living in it" line, was a nice little nod to Robin Williams.

The second movie The Rock has starred in with the title "Welcome to the Jungle" (The name of "The Rundown" in the UK). It's nothing special, just a fun adventure movie, that doesn't take itself seriously.

    Olympus Has Fallen

    ★★★½

Die Hard in The White House isn't my favourite Die Hard movie, but it's far from the worst.

Olympus Has Fallen does a lot of things right. The story is simple, but effective. Rick Yune gives a good performance as the villain (better than he did in Die Another Day). The adrenaline pumping action is great. And there are plenty of cheesy yet enjoyable action lines.

I'm not the biggest reader, which is weird to say. But…

"Oh my goodness, heavens to Betsy."

Watching Misery the second time is a greater (or worse, depending how you think of it) experience than the first time. I was on edge the whole movie, especially every time that door opened. Horror, Crime, Thriller. Whatever you want to call it. In think there needs to be a separate genre named after Misery.

There are many small moments involving James Caan that are so good. Whether it's facial expressions or subtle actions…
