Yet another film where a woman embracing her sexuality is evil, unholy, etc. Within the first ten minutes of the film, the words slut and whore were being thrown around so carelessly. Using the words of another reviewer to describe Bardot's character, she was "a woman with a bad case of male writer personality." Bardot was as lovely as ever, it was just such a shame to see how this story unraveled over an hour and a half. Almost every new character introduced was more disappointing than the one before. Sigh...
