Very eerie throughout. Garland is skilled at creating worlds that, though they exist behind a screen, seem vividly unsettling and unsafe. If there was a message though, I didn’t get it. There’s better sci-fi/cosmic horror out there I think; I really feel like I got nothing out of this experience other than a little despair. I’m tired of watching r-rated movies.
