A Nanny to Die For 2024
This plays like a satire of low budget/lifetime channel style dramas, but I think it was made in earnest? Either way, I was fully enthralled by the acting/writing/directing/lighting and set design (or lack thereof?).
Some highlights:
- Every scene shot in broad daylight even when the scene context implied it was night
- Constant overuse of stock exterior establishing shots

Our Little Secret 2024
A major plot point of this movie revolves around the premise that a human being eating 12 cookies is unreasonable, impossible even. To me, 12 cookies aren’t that many cookies for someone to eat in one sitting. I think the bit would have worked better if it was somewhere between 30 and 70 cookies.
