Forgot to log this, but a very cute monster/post-apocalyptic movie that is very much in the vein of Zombieland. Solid movie with some fun creature designs. Wish we got more of Michael Rooker and X-23.

Lets get the good out of the way: the piano playing taco, the “Don’t Stop Believing” cover, and some of the visuals. Full stop.

• Some of the worst acting I’ve seen in awhile, with Millie Bobby Bon Jovi looking like her acting talents went to the upside down• Some of the visuals are just so meh, including all scenes of Mr. Peanut

The score, acting, cinematography, writing, directing, editing, and visuals were all incredible. The movie was a bit slow to hook me but once they went to Los Alamos, I was locked in. Cillian Murphy and RDJ deserve Oscar nominations at the least, and I imagine others like Emily Blunt will earn a nomination too. Loved the final line about how Oppenheimer thinks he did cause a chain reaction that would end the world, even if he didn’t literally do…
