Such operatic, theatrical visuals! Convinced I could follow the story with no sound. Pacing was so good was not tiring at all - went by so quick. On top of that, the compositions were beautiful, always purposeful - camera movement was always motivated and if not the blocking created the interest (and at one point the rain). Still amazed at the focal length somehow used to get everything in focus - what gave it that theatrical feel to me cause you can see multiple scenes, activities, actions going on at once in different planes. Amazing!! An absolute master. Also surprisingly hilarious.
