    On rewatch this movie really disappointed. It’s one of those where I have a lot of interest in the historical context in which the story unfolds, but the story itself, acting and CGI are all poorly executed. Tarzan’s kind of a dull character throughout. The movies attempt to bring a storybook character into real historical events and straddle the line of reality does not come off. In my opinion Tarzan is best in his 1999 animated form where he stays in fiction and fantasy.

    Honestly, it exceeded my expectations. I’m a huge fan of Indiana Jones and was scared when I heard about this movie. Of course I was. Have you seen the Star Wars reboots, or Jurassic Park?
