    I am pretty worried about political polarization and I think the basic argument about misaligned incentives is sound. Some of the proposed solutions are interesting and should enter the national conversation.

    But the evidence of harm is hyperbolic and one-sided. One brief mention of adaptation and past technology panics that is immediately dismissed without a counterargument. Zero confrontation of evidence that belief in propaganda is overstated and negative mental health effects in adolescents are inconsistent and small.

    Ironically designed to persuade rather than first and foremost inform, the pot calling the kettle black.
