  I found this movie delightful. Koji Yakusho was wonderful as Hirayama. 

  There may be something left unsaid about the nature of wage labor. Taking pride in one’s work, even cleaning toilets, can bring one great peace and contentment in their day-to-day life. But this is certainly difficult… blah blah blah obvious Marxian analysis etc. etc.

  The movie does not ignore class divides or society’s lack of appreciation and even disgust towards certain important laborers—far from it. Maybe it is unfair…
