Sometimes I watch a lot of films, sometimes I don’t watch a lot of films.

Will give anything a try, but horror is my jam 👏🏻

Who’d have seen Aaron Taylor-Johnson go from looking like this to being tipped for James Bond?

Quality cast, Nic Cage is perfect as Big Daddy as is Mark Strong as the big bad.

Some genuinely emotional moments in this film, the score really adds to it and you can hear that in the fact its music has been used in other things since.

Zero spoilers but “Kryptoniiiiiite!” Is genuinely one of my all time ‘goosebumps when I watch it’ moments; the cinematography, music, everything. It’s perfect.

An absolutely legendary film and will always be one of my favourites. You can tell so much passion and thought went into it, with all the little nuances and missable things that make it what it is.

It also feels like a love letter to Spaced and it’s still funny every time, no matter how many times I watch it.

What a strange film, I don’t know what I was expecting but it wasn’t something quite so literal of the title.

I remember Tumblr going mad for this film back in the day but I never ended up seeing it till now and I didn’t dislike it but it’s definitely a film of the time. If it wasn’t released in 3D, it definitely should’ve been because it had all the hallmarks of forced depth perception throughout.

    I’ve also never seen…

One of those films that has so little explanation for 99% of it and tbh doesn’t need it. Between the outfits, occasional synth bops and questionable dialogue it’s one to watch for sure.

Also honourable mention to a very young but extremely recognisable James Remar.
