I have felt terrible (emotionally and physically) millions of times in my life, but I have never felt this strange combination of depressing dread and a god awful sense of hopelessness in my chest. This movie was able to capture all of that and make me feel horrible about everything that has happened in the past when it came to victims of war. I reconsidered every decision I had ever made in my life and felt awful the entire time that I had a personal reflection of myself. Fantastic message but I don’t think I ever plan on watching this movie again.

Possession 1981
this movie is 2 hours of the most nightmarish divorce with lots of confusing events that make absolutely no sense. It’s a very Shakespearean style of horror movie where every line and action is recited in the most dramatic of ways. The visuals and color grading are engaging and satisfying to all senses. And the special effects are tight as fuck. This movie stresses me out and gives me so much anxiety yet I continue to rewatch it every few months just to get the blood pumping again in the worst possible manner.
