hollywood try not to cast a-list american actors in european historical films challenge.
the hair and costume inaccuracies were hard to ignore, but they weren’t as god-awful as the damn accents. everyone’s vocal coach (if anyone even had one) should be put on trial.
i also did not realise that was ben affleck until an hour into the film. very unsettling.

truely captures how humans can be angry, misunderstood, vengeful, grieving, and sorrowful all at the same time. no one in this film is truely a good or a bad person. the characters feel real. and the ending was perhaps the most realistic part of this film.
