This film, even on my little laptop took my through an experience of film I hadn't experienced ever before.
The sound design is reason enough to buy a cinema ticket when we are allowed again.
Darius Marder spent 13 years on this film and 5 of them casting, it is truly perfect casting.
Visually I think its stunning and at times disorienting in the perfect moments

This is a must watch for any film fan, especially for inspiration, this being Marders 3rd feature film directing. I'm looking forward to following his career.

Riz Ahmed, forces you to feel, and I believe every second of this performance

Bacall invented the looking up move as she was shaking from nerves so badly the only way she could not was to keep her head down and look up and then that was labelled 'the look'

What can I say i really liked it when I was like 11 and I still do, this film also invented whistling

"you know how to whistle, dont you steve? you just put your lips together and blow"

Coming to America is an amalgamation of black talent and improvisation that takes a simple story, one where you already know the ending, but that ISNT why you sat down to watch it. Its not why back in 1988 people…
