I’m glad I didn’t go see this in theatres. It took me 2 days to finish and that included skipping songs and skimming scenes. I understand that this is a children’s movie but it was incredibly boring and Moana’s crew drove me batty other than the farmer. The exaggerated facial expressions and movement cringed me out. It felt very unnatural and almost reminiscent of Tiktok cosplay expressions 💀

I went into the movie with very low expectations and was blown away. I absolutely adored how the writers and animators depicted real life lion mannerisms seamlessly into the film (male lions killing “strays” so their bloodline isn’t threatened, emphasis on females doing the hunting and being more maternal & skilled).

PLEASE, THIS MOVIE WAS SO SILLY AND GOOFY. Convinced MCU stans don’t know how to have fun outside their main Avengers clique.
The Ant-Man series is notorious for not taking itself seriously and just having fun and that’s what I love so much about it! Genuinely didn’t expect to laugh as much as I did (nor cry bc of how devoted Scott Lang is to his daughter).
ALSO It really was giving Spy Kids & Shark Boy and Lava girl vibes???…
