While I did enjoy the Hateful Eight, the movie lacked the same sense of style and substance as other Tarantino movies. Usually, the hyper-realistic violence is balanced by witty dialogue and an interesting plot, but unfortunately it all falls relatively flat here. The movie is entertaining immediately, and takes advantage of nostalgia in a way that doesn't feel cheap or forced.
