  strong and visceral with the combo of its first person perspective and the media snippets playing throughout. part way through I was feeling kinda eh, not super engaged with the narrative because of the shifting back and forth in time/perspective, and not feeling incredibly connected with the two main characters, since in any given shot one of them is absent because it’s from either of their perspectives. that said, the last act really ties everything together and brings it to…

  yuck! Great satire / metaphor for modern beauty standards and how it effects our relationship with our bodies and also it didn’t need to be quite so gory imo—it was very, and taken to visual extremes that aren’t pleasant viewing but definitely memorable. super slick and pop culture stylized feeling, kinda reminded me of the movie about the woman who takes advantage of old people and also barbie
