I don't remember the last time I watched a film which was as haunting as Gargi. Brilliantly written by Gautham Ramachandran, a young woman going to extreme lengths to prove that her father is innocent, who is accused of raping a minor with the help of an inexperienced lawyer but is still proven guilty by the court due to substantial evidence against the accused. Career best performance from Sai Pallavi. Couldn't really imagine anyone else playing Gargi other than her.…
