They remade it scene by scene, even mostly reusing dialogue, with some minor tweaks to adapt it to South Africa (e.g., black Shangaan tribe instead of Apaches). Changing the name of the ghost town from Yellow Sky to Yellow Rock seems to be the peak of their creativity.
