Surprisingly charming and cute.
Rachel Zegler, get behind me! I thought she was excellent and so was the actor who played her love interest. Gal Gadot, however, has all the acting talent of a peanut. She was dragging the movie dooown like a boulder in a canoe. We couldn’t find any other dark haired actresses who can sing to play the Evil Queen?
As for the Polar Express looking dwarves, seeing them interact with humans was weird but they were also veeery…

We went through all that because Mufasa violated bro code…
An enjoyable prequel with animals that show more emotion on their faces than the previous Lion King movie (thank god). At times the pacing was rushed and it annoyed me most when they rushed through the reasoning for Taka’s betrayal. All of a sudden Serabi and Mufasa have feelings for each other…ok. They should’ve written the plot in such a way that I didn’t have to side eye Mufasa after that song he and Serabi sang lol.
