Incredibly relatable, authentically unfiltered, profoundly genuine, and deeply human. It might lean towards the pretentious side, but that's somewhat anticipated in films of this nature. However, does it overshadow Jopy's commendable effort? Not really. As humorously remarked by someone here, "pang A24!" – a sentiment I wholeheartedly share. The movie embraces that distinctive aesthetic and ambiance, yet I believe a touch of innovation could have been beneficial. This genre has been explored extensively, and while familiarity persists, in my opinion, this ranks among Cinemalaya's finest offerings. I look forward to a repeat viewing, this time alongside my soon-to-be.
