Deadpool & Wolverine 2024
What made the first Deadpool work so well is that it made fun of all the pandering, mega-franchises it was adjacent to. Not just MCU. This one is nothing but pandering. Every scene is just dusted off IPs standing around quipping at each other. This is No Way Home but just as bad, if not worse.
How much longer can Marvel keep up this desperate act? Apparently a lot longer considering how much money this thing made.

A pretty mid movie, but this has better directing than most Oscar nominees. Steven just knows how to move the camera and direct your eye without you noticing.

Im quite impressed that Warner Bros. agreed to fund this movie. If this script hadny been this good this would've never gotten De Niro, Phoenix - and at one point - Scorsese attached to the project.
A chain reaction was started by Heath Ledgers perfomance 11 years ago. It not only showed that comic books outta be taken seriously, but also the dark themes that could be explored with this famous character.
And this film follows suit.Bold. Brilliant. Amazing performance.
