  I consumed this film how I was supposed to and didn’t even realize it. The more I sit with it, the more I understand its genius! Unbelievably perfected the seamless, endless, subtle, precise, naiveness that your brain works under when recounting memories and creating dreams. Nothing was extravagantly focused on, which is why this film is so good. Everything was meticulously crafted to perfection, and even if that craft wasn’t the focus of the scene, it proved itself.   Made me viscerally sick in an amazing way. A beautifully horrifying film which portrays and captures something indescribable and very important in regards to humanity. Genius and pure! Herzog captured what heaven, hell, and purgatory must feel like to experience all at once. This was one of the scariest films I’ve ever watched; the long drawn out, wide, laugh filled, destructive shots and strange facial angles will stick with me forever.
