  Really good. So many shows and movies have likely used this as inspiration. I don’t have enough good things to say. Also don’t wanna give any spoilers. The show is 12 episodes. 30 minutes each. Doesn’t take that long to watch. Goes down as one of my all time favorites.

  Jodorowsky is a lunatic mastermind, his movies are not meant to be enjoyed. Lots of rape, disabled people, nudity, and esoteric ideas. The Holy Mountain was a mockery and a thesis. El Topo is just a fable, but a good one. While I was watching both films, it’s hard to piece together the plot and correct interpretation.   Way too brutal of a film. I’ve seen all types of WW2 and holocaust movies… this movie does not compare… significantly more disturbing. Although it’s not a pleasant watch, it was done extremely well. I forgot I was watching a movie at points. Just all around done well. Starts too slow and vague for my taste, but surprisingly comes together when least expected. There are some scenes in this movie that I will never forget. Just shit you don’t see often in film. Some bleak shit. This movie makes every other war film feel like child’s play.
