I didn't know I could cry so much until I saw this film...
The first 30 mins of the film sadly dragged quite a bit, and I felt a bit fidgety in my seat. But after that point, I became immersed in the Marvel universe. I can't lie, it felt like I was on drugs throughout the whole of this film.
And not a good kind either, an aggressive whirlwind of confusion. The only thing worth mentioning was Benjamin Kračun's stellar cinematography. The rest of the film was jolted, uncalled for, and strange. Maybe I just misunderstood it and need to give it a re-watch (if i can be bothered to) But everything just seemed a bit pointless and messy. I love Jessie Buckley as an actress though, and she portrayed her character of Moll well. Apart from that, I felt this film was disjointed and unhinged. Not a fan.

Set in 90s New York, and directed by the musical legend that is Lin-Manuel Miranda, I was adamant that this film would have a lot in store. As a fellow musical theatre lover, with a burning desire to visit the big apple one day, this film definitely hit the right notes for me.
