The Brutalist 2024
This is cinema. Visually striking with each scene, and quite possibly Adrien Brody’s best performance.
Somehow this movie was made for $10M, but looks like a $100M art film about the American dream, which just adds to the depths of its brilliance. Do yourself a favor and forget about the runtime and see this movie in one sitting. It’s an epic journey that will hold a firm grip on you from start to finish.Translated from by -
Gladiator II 2024
It’s not the first, but hopefully it is the last. Even if this does wind up leading to a trilogy, if Ridley Scott is directing, we’ll be seeing it.
All jokes aside, Paul Mescal and Denzel deliver the goods and the set design is Oscar-nom worthy. So although this film is riddled with a script that seems like it was written by AI, this movie is a fun watch for anyone who can alienate some rather stark historical inaccuracies for the sake of respecting the performances and the quality fight choreography that will surely keep you entertained.Translated from by

Megalopolis 2024
To put it mildly, this movie is the equivalent of watching someone throw spaghetti on a wall and calling it art.

Anora 2024
One of the best breakout performances we’ve seen, and the best movie-going experience of 2024 so far. This film is a rave of desire and comedy all blended in one big ball of desperation. Much like how Parasite made its mark, this movie gives off the same potential for the future of independent film. You will enjoy this movie.
