  I love how much Miyazaki clearly loves little kids and showing the complexities, idiosyncracies, and emotions of his children protagonists. This is such a beautiful movie in every single way

  "The prince is such a creep :(" literally shut up and watch the movie. She saw him in a dream and they already fell in love and he was going to break off his royal engagement for her and the fairies told him that who she was and that he needed to do it to break the curse otherwise everyone would be asleep forever. He's not just going around and kissing random sleeping women (now the prince from Snow White is another story)
