A great movie to watch with family over the holidays or for moments when you still want to actively connect but still watch something. You can talk to each other and imagine out-loud about the unspoken backstory.
Also a great movie to have on in the background as a vibe as there is no dialogue. Just animal and nature noises with some atmospheric music.
Obviously, great movie for kids - but not exclusively so.
Hot at the beginning, fun at the end - what more could you want?
Surrealist vibes, with undercurrents of anxiety and tension. It gets to the social commentary, and is a modern homage to the great Monsieur Cronenberg.
Definitely made me unsettled. I had to start folding laundry while watching it.
I liked Death Becomes Her from the 90’s more, and they’re similar films.
Disjointed snippets of horror. The scenes didn’t feel very connected or and the plot didn’t seem very well researched. Though the premise is interesting, I think it could have had more intellectual depth.
The videography is great and some of the acting is really well done. There are some super edgy scene work that I also enjoyed.
