I'm typically skeptical of Netflix block busters and they are often garbage with a couple of big name actors to suck us in - like lipstick on a pig.

This should have have been called "Aliens: Gen Z in Space". The movie was probably better than I rated but I had trouble getting over a story about a bunch of self centred shits. I was rooting for the Aliens.

My kid is a movie afficionado and this movie was on his 100 movies in 100 years. My problem is that I have limited time in my life and I've just lost about 90 minutes from on this pointless movie that has no plot. Someone has to be accountable for my time.
Terrible. I think the producers were trying to piggyback on the success of Last of Us to create a daddy/daughter bonding movie but instead ended up with a cheesey series of standard "escape the monsters" lame-o bonding tropes.
