  Cant believe it's even better than the play, which i loved and still hold as the best stage production I've ever seen. Casting makes so much sense in terms of performance and messaging. Only gripe is the few instances of bad lighting, which I found distracting but still charming. Ariana was hilarious

  Denis perfected rhythm: rhythm in sound and score, in plot pacing, in moments of stillness, in actors' voices, in camerawork. Not to mention the best black and white imagery I've ever seen and the most flawless CGI I've experienced. He did this story more than its just due with this one. Definitely up there with the best sequels and the best sci-fi as everyone says

  Here's a live-review list of grievances:
  1) opening credits scene is way less epic than the OG's. The song also sucks in comparison. LeBron's been my favourite player since 2007 but I can't help but think that was all a vanity show for him.
  2) the jokes are pretty terribly and distractingly cringy
  3) replacing the cartoon aliens with Don Cheadle as a villain was a bad idea (and he chose to act badly; and the name Al G Rhythm…
