  Fitting to watch an Irish icon on St. Patrick’s Day. 
  Enjoyable film, but the cult horror genre has just been done better. The best part of this is Malkovich’s performance.

  It’s crazy how well they managed to pull off a ‘passing the torch’ for a franchise. Has never been successfully done in anything else as far as I can think.

  Solid, but probably didn’t live up to expectations for me. 
  Found it a bit hand-holdy and frankly I’m completely exhausted with the Trump allegories, even when the performance is good.
  It doesn’t really get in to the ethics of its premise in any meaningful way. Also there’s a romantic rivalry subplot that starts and ends nowhere, seems like some of that was left on the cutting room floor.
  Really enjoyed Pattinson’s weird anime-esque personas and the big tardigrade aliens, fun design.
