  it delivers (this movie delivers and also a baby gets delivers as well so that counts as a jok e).
  one of the more viscerally bleak and miserable things i’ve seen in a long time while also one of the more visually stunning. definitely more of a “thriller” than i thought it would be (!!!) which is sometimes good and other times a bit of a tonal whiplash.

  we should all keep an eye out for alice maio mackay because i think she has the chance to make a genre-defining piece of trans cinema in like 5-10 years if she keeps going down this route. give her a real budget and i would be so excited to see what she could do with it.
  this is very cool and awesome, very australian, very transgender. rarely do you see such good acting chops in such a low budget independent movie as this (lewi dawson is really great!)
  watch it!! it’s important to watch independent queer films in times like this, folks!
