Continuing my new LOTR streak. This movie was very good at changing your perspective surrounding Tolkien himself and what informed his writing. It also doubles as a great historical rapture of growing up in early 1900’s Britian, WW1 and brotherhood. Some scenes are truly brutal and harrowing, war sucks. I would recommend any fan of Tolkien or a history buff to watch. The movie does become a bit cringe and on the nose sometimes, which is why it has a 4 from me.
Banger.
A movie that depicts a divorce both so brutally but tenderly at the same time. The performances from Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson are unforgettable.
I highly recommend anybody watch this movie, children of divorce or not.

I didn’t go in expecting much, but the performances from all characters make this film unforgettable.
With themes of suicide, the damming effects of toxic masculinity and predestination, this film is a must-watch for anyone looking for a great story, a brilliant biopic, a tragedy, or a good sports movie.
I think it’s quite disrespectful that they didn’t include Chris in the movie. I understand his end may have made the movie too repetitive but it still leaves a sour…

The great director Christopher Nolan said: “review a film by how it makes you feel”. The movie made me feel disturbed, angry and giggly, and I applaud it for its ability to do so. I think this is exactly what the movie set out to do.
